The following terms are organic to Common Table, and we provide them here as a taste of our local flavor:

Content Provider |
Similar to the idea of internet content, the term content is used in place of "sermon" or "message" which usually connote a one way communication and may carry other connotations as well. In our usage, the content / content provider can serve the purpose of setting up other elements of the service, set up or facilitate a discussion period, or occasionally stand on it's own. |

Our Design Team is a creative team who seeks to create a Sacred Space for our public meetings each Sunday. |

Our GNU Team (Giving to Needs Unmet) help us focus on needs around us. (Don't miss the open source reference) |
iTeam |
Our technical Team who enable technology in support of our teams and our heart. |
LT |
Our Leadership Team is a small group of individuals who provides strategic oversight and guidance for our church. |
Orbit |
Many of us arrange our different social and spiritual needs around the communities that we trust and enjoy. We involve ourselves in those communities at the frequency that we choose. We call it orbiting. We choose and change our involvement levels from the community according to our own needs and/or wants. |
Pastor |
We're not really sure what this word means anymore. Shepherd? Teacher? Leader? Charismatic Personality? Professional Christian? |
Service Worship |
On or about the last Sunday of each month, we gather elsewhere to focus on serving the needs of others in our community. We're not sure who benifits more from this activity. |
Staff |
Much in the way of a Resident Artist or Co-operative Farmer, these individuals receive small stipends in order to free them up for cultivating life, beauty, and relationships around the Common Table. |
