We leverage online communication to maintain relationships during the week when we are not together.

Our “On the Table” weekly newsletter is the best place to keep up with what is happening at Common Table. Only one email per week (unless there is last minute news). We don’t spam and we protect your privacy. Subscribe to On the Table

Our Core Group is open to anyone who considers themselves a member of Common Table Church and would like to express that by having a voice in church goings-ons. Note that we place no requirements on what membership with Common Table means – membership is expressed soley through your willingness to call yourself a member. Expect a couple hundred messages per month, but they are all nicely threaded, so it’s survivable. Join the Common Table Core

Our Unauthorized Theology Pub is a another place we can bring our thoughts, questions, ideas – even heresies and doubts – and explore matters of faith together. Many folks on this list have never attended a service with us. Yet despite never meeting, some important relationships have been forged.True to its name, the “Pub” is not a good proxy for figuring out what we individually or collectively believe. Rather, it is a good measurement of the kinds of questions and discussions which we not only tolerate, but embrace. The pub is not a place to underestimate your audience (‘assume very little’ is a good rule of engagement), as professional clergy, staunch non-Christians, and critical religious thinkers from all over the country gather around a virtual brew. But everyone is friendly and a compelling question is always welcome. Tip a pint in the Unauthorized Theology Pub

Our Mid-Week Group usually meets on Thursday evenings for a shared meal, discussion, and prayer. The venue changes from week to week – usually it’s somebody’s house – and the discussion topic could be anything from a Bible passage to a theological question to a selection from a book one of us has read. We usually figure out what and where at least a day in advance. :-) Join the Mid-Week Group

Our The Mid-Week Prayer Requests Group is for sharing requests for prayer and support with the Midweek Group. Everyone is welcome! Join the Mid-Week Prayer Requests Group

The first rule of Book Club is: Don’t talk about Book Club. (OK, not really.) The second rule of Book Club is: fiction books only. If you want to read a biography or something, you can start your own club. Don’t make trouble. (I think those are all the rules.) We meet monthly or so. When we meet, we discuss the old book, then choose a new book. Also we eat food and drink beer, or maybe wine or margaritas. No big wup. Join the Book Club

We aspire to expand beyond music to poetry, spoken-word, and other artistic forms – so musician or not, you’re welcome! Join the 9:30am Club
