Welp. It’s another one of those five-Sunday months, which means that we’re about to go two weeks (this coming Sunday the 23rd, and next Sunday the 30th) without meeting at Jammin’ Java.
BUT! Of course that doesn’t mean that we’re not going to get together.
HOWEVER! I’m afraid that just about everything I know about for the next couple of weeks falls under the categories of “fun” and “fellowship” – not necessarily very churchy.
But here’s what I know: This Saturday, September 22nd, at 7pm, in the Year of our Lord 2012, the Bill Murray Film Festival of Love cordially invites you to a viewing of Caddyshack at the home of Mike Croghan and Tina Driskell. All varmints welcome.
And then on Sunday, a whole pack of us are traveling into the past (which is located near Annapolis) to drink in the Maryland Renaissance Festival! Come one, come all, and join in the revelry! Sendeth us a fleet-footed messenger if you want to join in.
And next weekend, there’s more fun stuff. Bill Murray, Phyllis Tickle, and Don Giovanni are all converging on the evening of Saturday the 29th, and I don’t know what the heck we’re going to do. And on the evening of Sunday the 30th there’s a lovely Taize service in Vienna that a bunch of us will probably attend. But more on that stuff next week.
